On Friday March 8, 2002 (an absolutely beautiful day - blue sky, 70 degrees) we took the whole clan to a park not far from Bob and Debbie's place. The clan included Amy and I and our three little ones, plus Bob and Debbie and their two grandkids, Sydney and Lindsey.
Once at the park Shelby wasted no time in finding a place to climb...
...that led to her favorite thing in the world - a "whee slide"!
Poised to take the plunge - she spent the first 20 minutes or so on this slide.
Shelby made it to the bottom, having gotten rid of all of therocks she was shooting down the slide, while Sydney gets ready for the ride.
Shelby also found another slide, a "spinny slide" that did a couple of loops on the way down.
Hayley actually took part in this one as well, but she was more involved in the swings (as you'll see on the next page).
