Superbowl Part 1 / Superbowl Part 2
We usually try to make a part of superbowl weekend, and Superbowl 2002 was no exception. Our Cornell friends Don and Kristin came up on Saturday, and a bunch of other folks joined us for the game on Sunday. Here Don is showing Hayley the wonders of a tiny cell phone. Hayley's thinking "look pal, I know how to use the phone - just fork it over and let me play!"
![]() Kristin definitely got her fill of the two weasels over the weekend.
![]() Not only did they pounce on her with great regularity, but she became their favorite book reading target. Kristin got to know our inventory of books very well by the end of the weekend.
![]() On Sunday Steve and Diane joined us, and Diane got some quality time with little Courtney.
![]() Then Mom and Dad came up for the party, and as usual Dad got cuddles from his little girlies.
![]() Mom was cuddling with a little vino when we took this picture - but never fear, she got lots of quality time in with the kiddies.
![]() Here are Don and Steve, making sure that the incredible Sunday spread was well tested.
![]() The plastic bag on the table was filled with playing cards and poker chips - unfortunately, there are no pictures of the poker-fest that went on, but suffice it to say that Sunday at the Fairchilds was pretty stereotypical - for 3 hours it was ladies in one room chatting and holding babies, and men in the other, burping and playing cards.
